(Past-it’s-)Prime Real Estate

While traipsing around Southern Utah looking for old Ghost Towns, we came across this old-vehicle graveyard in the half-ghost town of Thompson, Utah.

Well past it’s prime, knee high in weeds was this curious Cadillac-Camper hybrid.

A 70’s era example from the now defunct Oldsmobile brand.

And some tractors.

I see we had similar thoughts for this. :)
I'm so glad you got the Cadi-camper! I actually mention that beast in one of the books I'm working on right now!

I'm thinking these are all one man's private treasures! I have an old family friend in North Dakota, and his father's family have been collecting for decades....they just haul them out to the family farm and simply waste away into field of weeds....I especially like the Cad Limo....is that a dome like skylight? Thanks Max, I enjoyed touring the grounds with your awesome shots!

The rusting and fading colours make them look amost as though they are part of some surreal landscape, whilst others stand out quite starkly.

Obviously they are not keen on recyling down there. I don't know what to make of that caddy combo.

I really find sights like these quite sad. I love my cars, past and present, and hate to think of them rusting in some metal cemetery.

Good shots though Max - thanks.
