Scenic Sunday

Thanks to Cashjockey, I found another outlet for my photographic interests; “Scenic Sunday”.  As the name implies, it theme is scenery, so here’s my first submission.

Somewhere outside of Eureka, Utah.  Contrary to some misunderstandings about my state, you can get alcohol here.  And from these pictures, it looks like even the horses enjoy the occasional brew.

‘Cause if it isn’t the horses they’re advertising to, who it is?

This looks like someplace straight out of an old western movie! I love it, and I don't even drink beer! lol

Beautiful! I love the 3rd one especially - it reminds me of the southern/central part of new Zealand (though not at the moment - there would be lots of snow)

Ahh, with my cooler down and out right now, a little snow sounds good.

Max, when I found your blog. I knew you and your style would be a perfect fit for several people I know. I immediately sent your info to them.

When I noticed you had click follow I was delighted. I would have written to thank you before now if my health issues did not have my life and my spare time in such chaos.

Hoping over for a visit tonight I was shocked to see my name in your post with a connecting link. I was so over the moon that I had to go take hubby away from his movie to show him you post.

Thank you for mentioning me.

Now back to my comments on your current post: I really like how you did this post. The close up shot of the building and horses with the mountains in the back ground opening out in the following shots to the vastness and emptiness of the surrounding area was brilliant.

Welcome to Scenic Sunday. glad you decided to join us.

Rita - You're welcome for the mention - gotta give credit where credit is due. And I love your pictures, so, hey, gotta spread the word.

Glad you liked my shots, there's a whole lot of vast emptiness here in Utah, you'll probably be seeing a lot of it since I'm going to make Scenic Sunday a regular item around here.
