I’ve been working on this series for over a year now, it started out by accident. I was just taking pictures of the construction next to the Chevron I worked at and after a month I noticed I had several shots from basically the same spot. So I started taking them from that spot on purpose.
You’ll notice that not all the pictures are of the same quality. Most of them were taken with my good camera, the Nikon digital SLR, but at times all I had on me was either my point-and-shoot or the camera on my phone.
The series isn’t complete yet, the building is supposed to be finished and ready for occupation by the end of this month. Then I’ll post the completed sequence. But, for now, since this theme came up, I’m showing what I’ve got so far.

How perfect for this theme!
That's really good! apart from the building, it was interesting watching the mountains in the background change.1
An excellent series! it's sure taken a long time, though. I wonder if it will be finished on schedule?
Thanks, I've enjoyed watching the progression. I went and took another picture today and talked to the people at the Chevron and they said that most of it would be ready on time, by the middle of this month, and that everything, including the landscaping, would be ready by the time school started this fall.
A great idea Max. A construction site is just right for series shooting if only you can get an uninterupted view.
You have reminded me that I took a whole series of photos of changes in a wood over a period of a year. I'll have to look them out again.
Bob - I'm looking forward to seeing your series on the woods. It'll be interesting watching the seasons go by.
Absolutely made for Carmi's theme. He should be quite pleased!
Fine series, Max.
I like Bob's idea, too...I bet a could put together a series with the seasonal changes around the lake I like to take pictures of.

I think one of the fun aspects of this theme, is noticing trends in our pictures! Love the slide show...and I miss mountains :)
Lailani - I know how you feel, I miss the ocean the same way. I need to make it to the coast sometime soon.
