More Orange.

Caught these pictures just as I was leaving a friend’s parent’s house.

It’s common in Utah for rain to evaporate before it hits the ground.  It has it’s own name, virga, and here it is happening right at sunset.

Visiting my father in Berkeley, I saw this orange, ball like gazebo in the yard next door to the house my dad was renting.

Stunning. You get such awesome sunset photos, but I think those top two are some of the best you've ever done. Seriously.
Get these on Pinterest quickly!

I just tweeted this blog post. I hope it brings you a bunch of visitors, although I've only got 125 followers.

What turgid skies... threatening something, that's for sure. Good shots!

I have never seen a sky that colour! And rain evaporating before it hits the ground?? Can we have some of that here, please, we are knee deep in water!

We only seem to get red sunsets in this part of the UK so I'm envious of your orange skies.

Gilly - I know how you feel, but for the opposite reason. It's been so dry out here my drought resistant plants are dying.

Thunder - It's pretty common here. We see a lot of humidity levels in the teens.

Bob - I've seen some red sunsets here, but not too often. Might have something to do with our thinner, dry air. The lowest level in our valley is about 4200 ft (1280 m) above sea level.
