This is the second time in a row it’s happened. I go through the eye exam and afterwards the doctor looks at me perplexed and says “Well, your prescription has changed. Your eyesight has gotten better than last time.”
The doctor says it’s not unheard of, but he had no real explanation for it. But I think I do. I’m convinced there’s a rip in the time-space continuum in my basement and every time I go down to get something out of the freezer my eyes are aged back 6 months.
Or maybe not.

Actually, that happened to me once, also. The doctor explained that it's the shape of the eyeball changing, and sometimes those shape changes can actually improve one's vision a bit.
Humphhh - wish that would happen to me. Every time I go I need stronger lenses!
Wow! If that's true imagine the cost of addmission you could charge to have other people hop downstairs and get their eyes improved! Oh yeah, you have something great here Einstein, I mean Max! Good news for your eyes anyway!
Y'know, you kind of sound like me, putting all your doctors' visits in the summer..... Must be a teacher thing, eh?
Hmmm, could be. I know I do it because it's easier than getting a substitute for the day.
Indeed.
Lucky you!
