Thematic Photographic 209

It’s been a busy, tiring week.  That first week teachers are back always is.  So is the first week the kids are back, so the next 7 days are going to be exhausting too.  Fun, but exhausting.  That’s why this is so late, and why I haven’t checked out the other photos.  Yet.

I took these pictures today on the walk back from dropping my car off at the mechanics.  17th South bumps up against the gully, and at one point it runs right along a sharp drop into the back yards of the houses in the gully.

Oh, and did I mention that the only camera I had on me was the infrared one?

No you didn't mention it, but I had a feeling you were out lost on some sort of infrared mission, and that (although the school thing did enter my mind) anyway I figured you were caught up somewhere just having a great time and that we would SEEEEE your results! I do like your new toy!

I'm liking that infrared camera more and more. I'm definitely going to shop for one as a gift for my husband.

Hope it makes him want to take more walks and aid in his weight loss efforts.

Great shots for the theme. The last one of the rooftops through the fence is my favorite.

very cool shots...especially that last one...behind and through the fence.

I love how contrasty IR photos are. They add such a great mood to any given scene. Love how you've used the fence and the leaves to frame the series. Totally cool stuff.

I love the last one, too. And the first one as well, I kept on staring to see if I could see something through the cracks ;-)
