Gotta love British Humour

Courtesy of the BBC:

A couple of kids were doing “Daytime…Nighttime…Daytime…” before class the other day, and I just had to ask what that was all about.  Talk about discovering a gold mine.

Definitely junior high humor on these. Seventh grade, all the way.
I can't show these videos in school, but my ninth graders LOVE the sassy gay friend stuff. They quote it all the time. (What, what, what are you doing?!)

Have you seen Alan? He's my favourite.

You're right - it's very British. My students love watching these, though.

This is quite a laughable opnener for the morning. Their game reminds me of when I was in sixth grade and we played "black boots, Brown boots" and those not playing were all so curious about what Black boots, Brown boots was all about! Thanks Max! I needed this today!

You're right gotta love that British humor. This certainly got my day off on the right start. Since you teach school could you recommend some good British humor books I already read Terry Prachett. I'm going to be recommending this post on my blog

Thank you for the recommendation! I do love British humor, but I have to admit I don't read much of it. A lot of my reading does have British heritage, in the Murder Mystery genre. But I get most of my British humor from T.V., movies and, more recently, YouTube (check out Rowan Atkinson's comedy skits on there, fall down laughing funny!) Sorry I couldn't help with your reading.
