The party’s over.

Back on June 23rd, I noticed a spike in visitors to my blog, from 53 on June 14th,  to 3,915 the next day.  A week later it was still going on and I noticed the bulk of the visits were from Germany.  I had no idea whether I had become an overnight sensation in Germany, or if it was some anomaly caused by a computer virus.

Well, yesterday I looked at my stats graph and saw that it had flatlined, which means that either the computer virus was cured or I fell out of grace with Germans overnight.  I suppose I’ll never know.

At least I had my 15 minutes of fame.

Darn those fickle Germans!

I'm thinking German fans of Knight Rider were mistaking your site for David Hasselhoff's home page. I understand he's a huge star there - but for the life of me I'll never know why.

Gotta love how the mysterious workings of the Internet lead to things like this. Whatever the source, you deserve the largest possible audience.

Carmi - I like that, a lot. Mistaking me for David Hasselhoff. I guess word got out that Max Sartin and David Hasselhoff are two different people. It was fun while it lasted.
