Cloudspotting II

I was out atop the new parking structure for the Westminster College dorms taking pictures of the construction that is going on nearby, when sunset fell upon me.  Thanks to this week’s theme, my eye kept focusing on the clouds instead of the sun.  Here are some of the shots I got.

Oh wow, Max, these are the kinds of clouds and skies I've seen from you before! Pure awesomeness!

That first pic is stunning, and the rest are great, too. amazing how the colours change as the sun goes down.

We haven't seen much in the way of clouds for several days now!

Max, you've outdone yourself! These are STUNNING!!
My favorites are the 4th and 5th ones from the top.

PS. If you read my post for today, you'll understand why I have a craving to drive to Snowbird, ride the tram, and take pics from Hidden Peak. Wanna go sometime next week?

Three cheers for new parking facilities and the amazing photographers who use them to capture brilliant moments like these.

I'll never get tired of skies like this one. The negative space between the mountainous horizon and the lower cloud deck is unreal: Love the way the rays spread subtly, obliquely outward.

Damn, do you have vision!

Really beautiful - and great to see the changes happening through the series.

Looks very peaceful - except for the plane.
