Dude, except for the paint color, this looks exactly like our old Ford pick up. Maybe ours was a 68 instead of a 67. I can't remember, since I was born in 65.
Anyway, I'm feeling nostalgic now.

Hey, for $2,500 you could live on memory land. Heck, for you, make it $1,750.
.
Just kidding - actually I was surprised I didn't get a little bit of harassment for having it for sale right after getting the BMW - guess it's time to count my blessings.....

Ah, you're sweet. But what the heck would I do with a 68 Ford Pickup? We sold the camper back in 75, and the last motorcycle in my family took off with the ex in 2000 (It's okay; it was his anyway.) -- Dad and my brother had sold theirs a few years before that.

It's all clear now. The harassment over the BMW and the old junk trucks. You're one of those people we talked about at the Clinic; someone who buys a vehicle when you have a USE for it. Always thought you all were mythical beings, like unicorns, leprechauns, gremlins or honest politicians.
In my plane of existance, the fact that it reminded me of a vehicle from my childhood, young-adulthood or just because I've either owned one before or never owned one before could be reason enough to want to posess it. Of course Edsel, my therapist, and I have been working on this perception, and "every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better".

Edsel. snicker. nice one. Perhaps she could have a sister named Mercedes.
Yes, I am one of those people who buys a vehicle she can use.
Mythical beings: gremlins, unicorns, and leprechauns. Yup.
But "honest politician"? That's just an oxymoron.

Nah, but she did have a sister, Fairlane, that was the clinic Administrator, and the Activity Director was her brother, Bronco.

So I suppose their dad is Mark the third (III)and Mom is originally from england, her name is Capri? And wasn't Bronco thinking of marrying that girl Caprice from their long time rivals? The family had a problem with that I am sure.

Actually, the family forbid Bronco from marrying Caprice, threatened to disown him, so his cousin Cougar ended up marrying her instead. Bronco ended up marrying Miata after spejnding some time in Japan getting over his breakup with Caprice.

I checked with Dad. Ours was a 67, but he said the only difference between the 67 and the 68 was the grille. I, of course, don't remember it that well. Dad said our 67 had airconditioning and could be loaded with a camper, four people, and a 24 foot boat and still pull uphill no problem. He paid 3300.00 cash for it in 1967. Just thought you'd want to know....

Well, in showroom-floor condition, that $3,300 truck now blue-books at $19,740. Mine isn't near that good a condition, doesn't have air, so wouldn't get quite as much. But it would still pull a camper and 4 people up Parley's at 55+ MPH.
