Liking a Republican Governor was bad enough - but this is intolerable......

Did you know that if you click on any of the pictures here - you'll get the full sized version? Now you do.
.
I've had a hard week this week. First I read about Gov. Huntsman's top three items on his agenda for next years predicted surplus, and the thought "I could vote for this guy" popped into my head. Not only is "tax cut" not even on the list, but teacher salaries, healthcare and pollution are the top 3 things he wants to spend the money on. What? A far cry from "take 2 aspirin and go back to work" Bangerter and backstabbin' Leavitt. If he backs up his words with actions, any Democrat that runs against is going to have to work hard to convince me to vote for them. And that hurts.
.
Yesterday I'm looking for parts for my LTD convertible and come across this - the new Camaro concept car. Not a big fan of GM, and since the '70 change have never liked the Camaro. Oversized outside and undersized inside, given one I would have just sold it to get a Mustang. Now they come out with the new Camaro, which is a flashback to the ones of the '60's. (Click here to see the comparisons). This is a Camaro that I could actually see myself owning. If I could get past the feeling of cheating on my beloved Mustang......

I always vote for people and policies, not for political parties. (Sorry about the alliteration there.) However, I usually end up voting for mostly democrats anyway. You do have a point, here. I may just have to vote for this guy.

Cheating on the mustang? Well lets see, there was the (1) '68 First Date, (2)'74 Pinto, (3)'83 Christine, (4)'80 'Stang, (5) '80 'Scrap, (6)'76 Chop top, (7)'99 Red. Can't say you exactly lived a monogamous mustang life. And thats not counting the 45 NON mustangs that you've courted.

You know I've heard once you go Camaro you never come back...

Hey Midnight Chevette,
Thanks for bringning up all my other cars in front of the one I'm currently courting. Now if I don't get the Camaro it'll all be your fault! (It'll have nothing to do with the fact that I can't afford a new car right now, that I already have 3 of 'em and that I'm going back to school this fall - it'll all fall on your shoulders.) Anyway - I was just playing up the rivalry between the Camaro and the Mustang, kinda ignoring all the others......

Ignoring all the others? Come on max...just because your home is the vehicular equilivant of Colorado City, Arizona doesn't give you the right to court any Camaro that fancies your eye. Next thing you'll be telling me is that the VW Golf is really a rabbit and the Ford Probe and the Mustang are two totally unreleated vehicles...
Your not good enough for a Camaro - go back to your Mustang ranch and do what comes naturally. (put down the keys and step away from the car...)

Max,

You're just an evil American from Lexington Kentucky! Don't you know that the age of concent for a Camaro in Utah is...er...I foget...but its older than you think it is buck-a-roo!

Signed,
G.W. Hayduke (aka 'Scar)

TMC,
Hey buddy, this is America, and I can court whomever and whatever I want, be it Ford, GM, Toyota or even Kia, and just because I’m the vehicular equivalent of Warren Jeffs doesn’t mean you can discriminate against me. If I want to add a Camaro to my stable of Mustangs, then so be it.
And just for the record - a VW Rabbit is the same thing as a VW Golf is the same thing as a Rabbit. Notice how the Rabbit disappeared when the Golf showed up on these shores, and now the Rabbit is back and the Golf is gone? Coincidence? I think not. As for the Probe, it get’s ruled out on looks alone. Nothing that ugly could ever be a Mustang. Even the Mustangs of the ‘70’s looked good, despite being Pinto’s in Italian clothing.

Anonymous/GWHayduke/S’car,
Who the hell are you? You obviously have some knowledge of me and my times on the Motel West – GWHayduke and S’car were aliases of mine there, although you forgot that the apostrophe goes between the S and the car because Sir Duke had the ASCII string “Scar” blotted out to show up on screen as “****”. You also know I’m from Lexington, although it’s Massachusetts, not Kentucky. Though it was common practice to annoy me by referring to Kentucky, so that could be intentional.
Anyway, who the hell are you really? And as for the age thing, refer above to my Warren Jeffs comment..;…….

ATTENTION: All Personnel

Ah, I see it now... the soul of the 'ol Motel West is coming back to life, including the old time rivalries between TMC and S'car... Lest we forget TMC taking Christine AND White Lioness and driving into the sunset... This could become very interesting..
