Swallowing the city.

I know this is a bad picture, I didn’t have the good camera with me, but I was up in the Aves last night and the city looked like it was being swallowed by a cloud.

Then we ended up going past Skyline High, where a bunch of teenagers were doing donuts in the snowy parking lot.  I decided to recreate some pictures that I took just about a year ago, with my old Wrangler.

Evolution of a cloud.

I went out to the Great Salt Lake to capture tonight’s sunset.  It wasn’t as spectacular as I had hoped, but there was one cloud that fascinated me.

Air crash in Olympus Cove

Well, that’s what it looked like.  A big mass of wet air crash landing right in a residential area.

I watched it for a while, photographing it as I did.  It looked weird as it pushed into the cove, hit the mountains, filled up the whole area and spilled over the tops of the mountains.

There’s been nothing on the news, so since no news is good news I’m assuming nobody got hurt in the crash.
