Hey! That's the Old Mill, isn't it?! I should've known you'd have a picture of that place.
It was awesome. I wish they hadn't torn it down to make condos. I did so many Slavic festivals in that building -- got to climb around in all the old parts that were normally off-limits, hang my costumes over the tombstones and such that were used for the haunted house there at Halloween.
Great old building. I miss it.

Have they actually torn the whole thing down? Those pictures were taken around this time in 2007, it was quite spooky. I'd hate to think it's been totally demolished, we used to go there every Halloween for the haunted house. I still think of it as "The Haunted Old Mill".

Maybe they haven't torn it down. I thought they had several years ago.
Maybe we need to go on an expedition to find out -- but not today; I'm still grading (and grading and grading....)

Good luck grading! You got my curiosity up, so I may have to go check it out today just to make sure. I haven't been down there to see since those pictures were taken.

And I haven't been there in a decade, so you're one up on me.
By the way, you haven't commented on my homeschooling post, which has shot my blog views up by about 150 today. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the subject.....

Sorry, for some reason my "Blogs I Follow" gadget hadn't caught on to that update yet.
