I got to go to the DMV today and play Mr. Gearhead. Actually, it didn’t take any playing since they never asked who I was. She did read Mrs. & Mr. Gearhead’s names to me, to confirm that it was their car, but never even said anything about me being Mr. Gearhead.
Now, the really amazing thing is that I got there right around 11:00 am, and was done and out of there by 11:36 am. And that’s on the first day of the month, which is usually busy. Woo-hoo!

I'm lost; why did you have to be Mr. Gearhead? Is he out of town?
But I do celebrate your luck on making it out of the DMV in record time. The last time I had to be there, it took about 2 hours of standing in a line, which stretched clear out to the sidewalk.
I had to play Mr. Gearhead becuse I was registering his convertible for him because we're going to drive a friend in the South Salt Lake parade tomorrow. He couldn't do it because he had to be at work.
Ah, indeed. I'm glad your good deed didn't end up in queue torture.
