My buddy Max Hall

For those of you outside of Utah and not big college sports fans, Max Hall is the Brigham Young University quarterback.
One of the biggest rivalries in Utah is between BYU and the University of Utah.  Every time they play each other, especially in football, the state is a sea of red (U of U fans) and blue (BYU fans).
This year, after beating the University of Utah, Max Hall commented “I don’t like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them.”  When asked why, he responded withThe whole university and their fans and the organization is classless. They threw beer on my family and stuff and did a bunch of nasty stuff. I don’t respect them.”  This is what I call a sore winner.  So, here are a few pictures that I got in emails this last week:

I truly want to believe that this one below is an actual picture from his high school yearbook.  Anyone who knows Utah County, where BYU is located, knows that the comment under his picture is not unheard of there.

THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HAS GONE THROUGH AN  EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATION LOOKING FOR THE FANS WHO POURED BEER ON MAX HALL’S FAMILY
HERE ARE THE RESULTS:

Wonderful photos.
As I told you last night, I'm using the whole Max affair to teach 7th graders the meanings of the vocabulary words "contrite" (which he's not), "retract" (which he did because someone with more sense put pressure on him), and "hypocrite" (which applies to most of Provo anyway).

Yeah, and like we talked about, his apology was a lot like that of a 5 year old that was told to apologize to his sister for taaking her toy. Not very sincere.

Its a rivalry. I'm sorry that you were offended by your "buddy Max Hall". His comments just make the rivalry all the more competitive. Please, don't bother with your self-righteous perceptions of what he said. They are ridiculous and down right stupid and make you look like a little baby. I wouldn't have thought that he would have gotten to so many people, but I guess his mild comments really stung some people. So what if he doesn't like the U. How many Ute fans say crap about BYU all of the time? And I'm not crying. Just let it be a flippin rivalry and stop your crying!

1 - You're 9 months late. How about making some dumbass comment on a post I made recently.
2 - I have no respect for people who make comments criticizing me who don't have the balls to identify themselves, even if it's only a pseudonym. (Uh, that means it could be a fake name, but one that is connected to you in some way).
Thanks for your opinion, but I stick by my original comments.
