Shopping

I’ve never been a mall rat.  Shopping to me is a decide what you need, run in, grab it, pay and run out proposition.  For the most part.  Some of the places I can spend a lot of time wandering around just looking at stuff are:

Cars.  My little brother and I have spent entire afternoons going from dealership to dealership looking at cars.  Just for fun.

Camera Stores.  Dreaming about that $10,000 lens or the newest camera.

Costco.  Has a lot of stuff to look at, and even stuff I can afford to buy.

Home Depot.  If you sent me a $100,000 gift card that could only be spent there, I would have spent within a month.

Walmart.  Never again.  Evil Empire.  And I got that from a friend that works in management there, not just from Facebook.

I haven't been to a mall in years, maybe over a decade. I can't remember for sure. I haven't even been down to wander through City Creek yet -- because it's still a mall. Ugh.
I went to Walmart once. That was enough. If I need the sorts of things they sell, I will go to a Kmart instead.
I like Inkley's. I don't like car shopping, but I can see why you would. I like book shopping. :) And I like craft fairs, which I'm sure you don't.
Mostly, I buy online -- even clothes. No parking hassles. No trying things on in tiny enclosures. No waiting in line. It's good.

Oh, I like to go to Home Depot or Lowe's with Dad. He has such a good time looking at things. :)

I've never mad it to a Costco or a Walmart but you could persuade me to visit a car mart.

Too funny! I like your style, except, like Lisa, I would throw on a book store. And probably pass on Costco.

Happy holidays and all the best for 2014!

Great tour of the shops, Max! Although I have to say the mountains in the background of your first shot caught my eye too! Lovely :)

Malls are a pain and each one has the same stores as the one before! But when you live in a country like ours, it is tempting to frequent them in Winter. I have never bought anything at Walmart, don't like their philosophy and now we have Target here in Canada since September. Don't think I will go there either.

Great shots Max, made me think and love the mountains.
