Well, now we know how/where you spent this afternoon.
Okay, I looked through ALL the pics, and I still can't tell if the station wagon has the cool back seat that faces the wrong way.
And I think you should get the new centennial license plate on this one because 1) it'll go nicely with the green and 2) you've already got ski Utah on the convertible and arches on the hard top, so this would be one of each.
When do I get to go for a ride?
And I take it the Subaru just got ousted from its place in the carport, right? poor thing. Hope it doesn't feel too bad.

And, finally, you are SO never allowed to make fun of little old ladies showing off wallets full of grandchildren pictures because you far exceed them with your own "babies."

yeah, no seats in teh back, and I'm having trouble with the back door so I didn't get any pictures inside there. Well, right now I'm doing my semi-decadal (is that even a word?) cleaning of the garage, so the Subaru has been outside all week. (I vacate one side fo the garage at a time so I can leave all the crap laying around while I take my time organizing.) But in teh long run, you are right - the Subaru will not go back under the carport, it's the car that will be sacrificed to the elements. The LTDs are going to get the garage and the carport. Hmmmm, maybe I'll have to build a carport over on the side of the house where I'm parking the Subaru. Hmmmm......

Well, what did you do with the temporary car port? Can't you still put that up somewhere?

Max Sartin said...

Nope, it's history. Those canvas carports wear out, I've needed to get a new top every 3 or 4 years. That's why I decided to build the new one, figured if I might as well do it right since I had to replace it anyway.

Oh.
You didn't answer my other question, though: when do I get to go for a ride?

And I think you really need to drop over to my blog and read the post on China. You'll like it.

Ahhh, you're gonna have to wait until I get the front end fixed, bad ball joints make for a bad ride, and really bad ones can break, rendering the car unsteerable. I don't think mine are ready to break, but it wanders pretty good right now.

Okay. I'll wait.
