Thematic Photographic 298–Summer

Summer, my favorite season – and not because I’m on school break.  I’ve always liked summer the best.  Clear skies, nice and warm and I get to spend a lot more time outside.

Driving around with the top and doors off.

Camping.

Hiking.

Dutch oven cooking.

Playing “Capture the Flag” in Goblin Valley. (No knocking over hoodoos involved.)

4-Wheeling.

Sitting around the campfire talking till all hours of the night.

Going to the lakes.

Yeah, no hibernating in the house avoiding the cold.

Capture the flag: Reminds me of being at Boy Scout summer camp.

I wish we had some cold here!

Goblin Valley looks awesome.

Of course your dutch oven cooking rocks! Oh I wonder what he made! Yummy I can bet, as outside camping the food is always the best. Your idea of summer is exactly mine as well! Awesome memories and great times to remember all winter long!

That was my Nephew-in-Law's famous dutch oven lasagne. It was (and always is) awesome.

"Goblin Valley" - what cool landforms. Enjoy your holiday and your summer, Max!

Very nice pics.
However, I hibernate in the basement a lot of the summer, trying to avoid the body aches and headaches and lethargy I get from intense heat.
I like autumn the best, even though it means school.

Ah, those photos brought back memories of my camping days! Though I don't think we had it quite as warm as you do! Lovely pics!
