Worse for Wear

I saw this when I was walking through one of the more upscale neighborhoods here.  It’s down in a gully that runs through the area, kind of weird to see something abandoned like this in a very affluent neighborhood.  I have no idea what it used to be, but up until the late 60’s this was all farmland.  Any guesses?

Intriguing shots. With concret walls it was intended to last. I wonder why not.

This is very cool. And it's given me an idea!

y'know ALL these images have stories behind them...and yours is no exception!

Is that in that gully just down the street from you? I've never looked down there. It may have been a farm building or part of the prison care-taking buildings. And it may have been flooded at some point.
There are several things like this up Red Butte Canyon, too.

We'll have to go up Red Butte Canyon sometime and get shots of them.
This one was in Holladay, I can't remember exactly where but I was walking to my brother's house when I found it.

It's about the size and general shape of a pumphouse.

I was thinking it could be something like that, being right next to the water.

(I wouldn't have guess it, meself...but I'm susceptible to superior information!)
