Finishing it this weekend ain't gonna happen,

Especially since I think they would really appreciate it at school if I maybe did some laundry this weekend.

Oh yeah. Maybe I should run a couple of loads, too -- especially since my hamper runneth over.

I don't have a hamper, but my closet floor runneth over. Well, they're already dirty, it's not like being on the floor is going to matter. Except that it makes it hard to get to the clean clothes. But then again, with my limited wardrobe, it's not like there would be any clean clothes left to not be able to get to, too.

Huh?
Are you saying that you pile ALL clothes, both clean and diry, on the closet floor? Or is it just the dirty ones that are on the closet floor?
Either way, it's obvious you're a bachelor.... (or that you don't actually live with any of your "wives").

No, no, no. Only the dirty ones go on the floor, silly. The clean ones stay in the dryer or on the couch until I need them. Just kidding. The clean ones get hung up in the closet, above the dirty ones. And there is a point where climbing over, and on top of, the dirty ones makes it hard to get to the hanging clothes.

I had a friend (female) in high school who hated hangers. She piled all her clothes on the floor. She had "clean" piles and "dirty" piles, and she always looked good and didn't smell funny.
However, walking around in her room was difficult. I remember staying overnight at her house for a couple of days while my folks were out of town (before I was old enough to drive) because she lived within walking distance of the school and I didn't. I recall kicking my way to the bed one evening.....
