It’s called “hall swimming”. I’ve seen students doing it up and down the halls after school a couple times this year. The custodians are thinking about handing out Swiffer® t-shirts and making it a competition.

We've been told not to let kids do the hall swim, as the rivets on their jeans scratch the floor. :)
That's the beauty of concrete floors, and a dress code that doesn't allow jeans.
We don't have an official policy on it, but we generally tell them to get up and quit sweeping the floor with their clothes.
Nyah, the Swiffer idea is better. :)
Pity about the jeans. Our dress code is strict, but we voted down the whole uniform-look you have going (about a year before you came to our school).
Interesting. All middle and senior high school kids wear uniforms here - public and private schools alike.
