Very interesting photos Max. Not sure what I am looking at though. Is that the insulation coming out of the eves or is it a striped fabric use to keep the critters out?
Regardless, it makes for a very interesting addition to the theme by highlighting those angles.
That nest has a color I'm not familiar with. (And yellow jackets usually make holes in the ground for their nests...but maybe that is what their entrance into the garage seems lie, to them.) ~

I got the willies when I first realized what that was, but I've got to admit their engineering skills are beyond belief. Talk about photos that make you FEEL!

From what I could tell when I took the picture, that is the hive those bees built.
