Funny! I would've praised both snarky little darlings, but, then, I am the queen of sarcasm and will not hesitate to insult a kid who sets him/herself up for a remark. Sappy sweetness is for kindergarten teachers. Of course, I once had a 9GT student who was so "talented" at setting himself up for jokes that we had to make a class rule: only one insult per day directed toward Tyler. True story.
