You call that a compliment?

This week is Spirit Week, and today was Sports Day, where everyone got to dress up in sports clothes.

I wore my Red Socks (in Italian it’s Calzini Rossi) t-shirt and some Granite High School basketball shorts.   Which was shocking for some of them because I almost never show up to school in shorts.

Other than the usual “should have warned me so I could have worn my sunglasses” comments, one of the students gave me what I think he considered a compliment.

“I didn’t expect your legs to be that thin.”
